Being a locavore has a number of benefits. The local food is fresh and has higher taste compared to different diets. The members claimed that the place he hunted the octopus was inappropriate because people travelled to the area to see octopuses. Others claimed that it was hatching some eggs when it was hunted.

All animal species should be protected, whether they are endangered or not. They play an important role in nature by balancing it and failing to protect them is disrupting nature. An example is sharks which feed on fish. If they are not protected and they reduce greatly in number, the fish are going to overpopulate and this will affect nature.

To establish an appropriate balance between protecting local populations and feeding on them, it is necessary to conserve the environment to ensure that it supports their breeding. In this way, they are going to increase in number and when human beings feed on them, a good number will still remain. Substitute foods can also be invented to ensure that too much pressure is not placed on the local populations.
